Independence Mall is a grassy area about 4 city blocks long that houses Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Independence Visitor Center, and the National Constitution Center. Various other museums and landmarks surround the grassy area. If you walk right through the middle of the Mall behind Liberty Bell Center, you can get some GREAT pictures of Independence Hall!

What a pleasure to see so much grass in the middle of the big city! The entire Independence National Historic Park is well laid out and easy to get from site to site.
Our Sunday in November was: Breakfast across the street from the Liberty Bell at Colombe Coffee Roasters; 9am entrance to Liberty Bell (no tickets required); Independence Hall tour (10:20am tour, reserved in advance); West Wing; Congress Hall tour; Supreme Court Chamber in Old City Hall; American Philosophical Society Museum; Benjamin Franklin Museum; Franklin Court Printing Office; Lunch at National Mechanics; and Museum of the American Revolution.

A must visit when in Philly.

It is overwhelming due to the history that took place here.

Lots of buildings to visit and take up the history of happened here.

Busy on weekends, but do not worry, the wait is worth it and it moves along.

Take time to immerse yourself in the area.

Bring your water and a treat on hand.

Bring plenty of film or memory.

A great place for small kids and old alike.

There are some tv's where the small kids can see and be entertained.

A MUST VISIT
