Enjoyed my stay. The Hotel is very clean, staff is very friendly and accommodating, very close to everything Gettysburg. A very good alternative to the quirky overpriced hotels closer to the Gettysburg attractions and it is a 4 min drive back to the tourist areas. Would stay there again and again!!

We stayed one night on a visit to the battlefield. Everything about this place was clean. Good nights sleep in a cozy bed. Typical free breakfast buffet. The cleanliness is what really stood out to me.

We just returned from a weekend stay in Gettysburg. We chose Hampton Inn for the value based on the room we wanted. We stayed in a king/2 queen family suite. Both of my teenage daughters loved having their own queen size beds. The room was very clean and had all the things we needed. Our stay also included a breakfast. It is basic in that it is scrambled eggs, hardboiled eggs, waffles, bacon or sausage, yogurts, fruits, milk, muffins, bagels, coffee, juices. Nothing cooked to order just a grab and go buffet. It is decent enough to start your day but if you are looking for a nice big breakfast, hit a restaurant/diner instead. I am giving it 5 stars because the service and cleanliness of the hotel were excellent. The breakfast was okay if you are just grabbing something quick to get you started.

Room Tip: The family suites offer a decent amount of room with a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker.

The Hilton chain is alwAys great because t this Hampton Inn was the best so far! The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Easy to access nearby restaurants. The complimentary breakfast is more than enough.

I like Hilton properties but they have steadily increased in price in the past couple years and this one is no exception. I did enjoy my stay however, The layout of the room was one of the nicest, having two sitting chairs and a nice desk well equipped for hosting a laptop. The wood trim of the room was very attractive and it had all the conveniences - coffee maker, microwave, small fridge, hairdryer, and even a night light for the bathroom which I really appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. My one complaint was the overly heavy and oppressive duvet, which seem to be the trend in hotels. This one merged the upper sheet so there was no separate sheet, so if one got too hot, which I did (and woke up sweating), there was no option of just a sheet covering. The breakfast was mediocre with the usual instant eggs and ersatz sausage links, but they did have fresh fruit, yogurt, and good oatmeal with several toppings. I would add that the hotel's parking lot is in the back and I had to park a good distance from the rear entrance, which was not convenient.

Room Tip: There is an elevator at the far end of the hotel where the parking lot is located, and also a lobby elevator, which helps.
