Nothing special here, in my opinion. Restaurants are average at best. Loud music is supposed to promote activism, I assume. Just a big nothing place. No culture, no great cuisine, no great art. Government just trying to make a commercially successful place. Try it your self see if I am wrong.

Cane down here for a short visit for some lunch and the area is a little trashy and the upkeep is lacking quite a bit. Not sure I would hang out here much after dark!

My son Tim and I spent a day at Jacksonville Landing. We had a fun day and had lunch and dinner there. It's on the St. Johns river and was a nice place to walk and watch the river traffic. There was a gentleman with a couple of parrots that we enjoyed.

I thought that this place would be more lively. We ended up only staying for one drink then moving on. Not something I would say is a must see.

I think the historical aspect of the Landing is really cool. And the view is breathtaking, if you're into cityscapes. But as far shops and things to Do, there isn't much. Just sports bars and shops with strange art/decor. They need shops and activities that make millennials and young families want to go year round.
