I think it’s scary here with chance of crime. I would not go back and recommended our company choose somewhere else for a Christmas corporate event.

We visited Jacksonville Landing at 3pm and hardly no one was there. The place needs a major overhaul. A lot of places weren’t open for business. We lunched at Hooters and enjoyed the breeze off of the water. The food was descent.

This is an okay tourist spot...crowded on weekends but dead during the weekdays (which I enjoy) they claim it's a mall...I'm not a mall shopper so Idk...I guess they have tourist shops...all I noticed were restaurants and pubs...Hooters and something else. Parking was reasonable. You can see lots of bridges from down there at least 4 or 5. You can also catch the tourist boats that takes you along the St. John River.

There was a time, 1986 to be exact, when the Jacksonville Landing opened up, that it was the place to be. The Gap, Banana Republic, Fat Tuesday's and others all graced this building and now they are all long gone. Its really a ghost town, no better than the other spaces that once graced the town, Phillips Mall, Roosevelt Mall, Gateway Mall, Regency Mall, and it could be a real gateway to Jacksonville, IF the owner of the building and the City could ever come to an agreement. Until then, avoid the space, there are better alternatives along the riverfront.
