Great way to spend the day with younger ones.

The kids were engaged with a lot of hands on activities. There is a lot of educational and physical activities.

Parking is very walkable and validation is very much appreciated.

This spot is ok if its not ideal to be outdoors or your time is limited in Baltimore. In my opinion, there are many other things to do with children that won't break the bank. Don't get me wrong, this place isn't bad; it just isn't as good as other places that I've visited that cater to children.

This museum knows their clientele. There's a network of tunnels, rope ladders and slides to change floors and go into exhibits! There are stairs and elevators too if you're not a child or child at heart. I think the museum is best for 7-12 year olds but there is something for everyone here. There's even a dedicated sensory space for those under 2 littles. By the way, if you have under school-age kids, try to come on a weekday-Saturday starts getting crowded early.

Bring your own food and put it in a locker until you're ready to sit and eat in order to maximize your museum play time (and stretch your dollar). There's a nice eating area but vending machine food will only take you so far. Lockers are available for rent but are first come first served.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We're so glad you had a great visit and enjoyed KidWorks and our hands-on, educational exhibits! Thanks for sharing those great tips for visitors! We do hope to expand food offerings in the future, but guests are absolutely welcome to bring food as you mentioned, and we're lucky to have some great restaurants within walking distance of the Museum as well!

Visited with our energetic 7 1/2 year old. The exhibits are varied and he loved them all but the favorite by far was the giant climbing structure in the center of the museum. It was a bit loud with all of the camp groups that were there but after all, it is a children's museum. This is a great place to let off a lot of steam and escape the heat. Be sure to validate parking and ask about applicable discounts.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Glad you had a great visit. KidWorks certainly is a popular exhibit! :) Quick tip for future visits: We reserve Mondays in July and August as a day where Summer Camps take a break from all of the great play and learning in the Museum, so that tends to be a bit of a quieter day here for family visitors.

I went with five year old and two year old. They both had a great time, especially the 5 yr old. My grandson tried about everything and enjoyed it. I like that everything was hands on in nature. It was fairly crowded with school trips, but it did not seem to affect how any of them enjoyed it. There were thing to climb, to build and to play pretend. There were enough things to do, that an older grandparent could take a break while they played or could play with them.. I started out playing with but did more watching later. Parking was easy, but paid. Several inexpensive restaurants but tasty were close by. Some upscale were near by as well.
