Planters Inn is a wonderful option for downtown accommodations when staying in Savannah's historic district. It's clean, stylish and close to all the sights and activities downtown Savannah has to offer. I had an excellent experience, the staff was outstanding and I'd recommend it to anyone. I highly recommend Planters Inn!

Let’s start with the good-the location is great and the hotel is clean. I was here for my Bachelorette party so we had multiple rooms.

Now for the rest….front desk service here leaves a lot to be desired. We had multiple maintenance issues (no AC in 2 rooms and no TV) and had a painter try to barge in our room. Not even an employee and he was given full access to us and all our belongings. As a female who travels alone quite a bit, this is scary and not okay.

No one at the front desk seemed to care about our issues bc we were staying on an employee rate since our friend works for the company. I was offered free breakfast to compensate for the safety issue but we already had plans. Front desk didn’t care, once again.

Hello!

We are terribly sorry to hear that you had so many issues during your bachelorette party weekend. While we always appreciate our guest’s feedback concerning their stay with us at Planters Inn, this review is for the Planters Inn in Charleston, South Carolina and we are in Savannah Georgia.

We were a part of the same company many years ago, but we are now separate hotels (although still on friendly terms!).

Savannah Georgia is also a great location for bachelorette parties, and we love to host girls weekends at our historic property on Reynolds Square! Since we are just two blocks from River Street, one block from Bay Street and a stone's throw away from world class spas, restaurants and nightlife, we are the perfect place for your fun-filled Savannah getaway.

Don’t forget to check out our website for the best deals for your stay. Right now we are offering our Stay More Save More special where if you book two nights or more you save!

Cheers!

We loved the central location for walking the entire historical district. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. This is a wonderfully preserved hotel in an equally gorgeous area. Don't depend on the advertised breakfast...it isn't offered now. Wine and cheese in the late afternoon was nice. Coffee was available in the morning. These rooms do not have refrigerators so we depended on our travel cooler to keep whatever we needed cooled. The A/C was somewhat wonky in our room. It would fluctuate in temps alot. We love old charm and it provided that. It's refreshing to step back a little and enjoy a little yesteryear. We would definitely return!

This hotel was in a great spot. Close to everything, very beautiful hotel. Front desk was very knowledgeable. Disappointed that breakfast is no longer included. Wine and cheese in afternoon was great. The free trolly stops nearby.

The WiFi needs to be boosted so that you can get a signal in your room. It was very weak.
Other than that it was a pleasant and comfortable stay in Savannah. Central to everything. I wonderful old building.
