Visited last night, first time since spring, and the menu is smaller than ever! The cold offerings (tataki, peel and eat shrimp, etc) at the bar are fewer than in the past and now come in plastic cups, instead of in glass. The hot bar is still decent, and the sushi and sashimi and remaining rolls from the menu are still very good, although service seems to have slowed down considerably.

For $35 on a weeknight including tax and tip, though, it's still a good deal and the food is tasty and well made.

The sushi is average at best, but the access to variety is nice, so I would give this place another chance. I like that they have the raw bar and a limited hot buffet to complement the all you can eat sushi menu. I think if you like sushi in quantity then it's worth a visit for you to see for yourself.

good as when I reviewed it 2 years ago. Menu has shrunk a bit (fewer REALLY interesting sushi rolls, more less expensive options). Service is a bit less well done, but the food is still good and comes out quickly. They've added a "serve yourself" hot bar (sweet sour chicken, small steamed crabs, etc) to the cold bar (oysters, sashimi, peel and eat shrimp).

18% tip is automatic with a party of 5 or larger. $37/person with tax and tip included on a weeknight is the current charge

I heard about this through the phantom and had to try it out! Its high end sushi and other dishes; I compare it to eating at a fancy Asian restaurant and not having to worry about the prices. We went for lunch and the price was great; $18.95 and we had maki roll after maki roll, soups, dim sum, sashimi, sushi, and more. Everything we ate was high quality. Service was super and the restaurant is clean and very well decorated. It is a bit more at dinner but they add items to the buffet portion which would be worth it. We will definitely go again!
