My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic find on our recent stay in NY. After spending a week in Manahattan prior it was great to see what Brooklyn was really about.
If we hadnt have stayed in Eagle Street we would have probably never got to try the Donuts from Peter's, a street of Polish meats :), the coffee from Five Leaves, the nice walk into Williamsburg and a pub crawl for 2 that started at Marks Bar around the cnr and ended in some hipster bar in Williamsburg.
If you want a slice of a Brooklyn neighbourhood which still holds onto its Polish heritage whilst being close enough to Manhattan including a bridge walk with one of the best views of Manhattan. I would totally recommend a stay at Jeanne & George's.
