Who would guess that Baker would have a pretty high-class restaurant? I didn't, but they do. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, and the price was reasonable for the area

A surprisingly trendy restaurant in such a small town. It was a busy weekend at the park so we had to wait a little for a table which was fine. They serve a focused menu of pizzas and a few burgers, and clearly some care has gone into serving quality food which was nice. But really what impressed us most was the staff. They were running around trying to keep a lot of people happy and yet still were smiling and friendly and attentive. It really seemed like this was a labor of love and it just made for a very nice atmosphere.

Great food, very fresh and tasty. Booze prices a little high with a very high corkage fee if you choose to bring your own wine. Ambience is warm and cozy. Highly recommend for the quality of their food and great service.

Stayed one night at the Stargazer Inn, so naturally I had dinner and then breakfast at Kerouac’s, as it is the restaurant for the motel and only one of two in town. Don’t let that fool you though, as Kerouacs would stand up against any big city joint and hold their own. Everything is prepared fresh and with care, including a seasonal menu and daily specials, both food and cocktails. Coupled with its location at the entrance to Great Basin National Park, this is the stopping place along the entirety of Route 50. I will be back.

The food ist good here the portion are on the smaller side. The prices are high for what you expect, they are more on the NY side. But there are not many choices to eat so.
