My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks in November.

We were not sure what to expect but we should have believed the reviews 

The hotel is one of the best places we’ve stayed, especially for the money.

All of the staff are so friendly and kind, they cannot do enough for you, and are always up for a laugh and a joke 
They make you feel very welcome when you arrive, which makes it hard to have leave them all when you have to.
The hotel management team are very approachable and you feel that they care very much about your stay in their hotel.

Rooms are nice, clean and well maintained.
Bathroom was spacious and again well maintained.
We had a pool view room which we liked as it was in the centre of everything.

The food was tasty, varied and plentiful, my wife is a vegetarian and she always had plenty to choose from at all meals.

The pool is great and always kept clean, and the pool staff are very helpful, they will always get you a lounger and towels.
If you want a change of scene the beach is only a 2 min walk from the main pool and again the service from the staff at the beach is great!

You can get drinks served at both locations, and snacks are available at the beach as well, if you want a change from the Buffet.

The animation team are good fun and unlike many places I have visited are not at all pushy about attending activities.
Talking of which there are plenty of things to keep you occupied if you want to keep active.
There is a great Dive Centre located at the Beach (Buccaneer Diving), as well as a Water Sports and Sailing Centre where you can get Free taster sessions on several sports.

Overall a great hotel, which we would visit again (hopefully soon)

We have travelled to many holiday destinations and toured many countries and this has to be one of the best holiday destinations we have ever been to; if not the best. The accommodation was comfortable and the food very good with a good selection. Dining area and lounge area very comfortable and the staff were extremely obliging and nothing was too much trouble for them.

The pool was a good size and the water at an ideal temperature; as we are older travellers that means it was warm. There is a lovely sandy beach with canoes and yachts for the use of guests and if you wait until the tide is out there is a great walk along the beach past fantastic rocky outcrops and interesting rock pools full of fish and sealife.

Whilst there we went on a 3 day safari organised by Jawamu Tours and Safaris which is just outside the hotel opposite the gate and the safari was just the icing on the cake. Very well organised, only the three us us in the safari bus and extremely good value.

All in all we could not wish for a better holiday and will definitely be back again.

We spent the day and stayed for a night at Mnarani Hotel. It's a beautiful place but poor service. The staff seemed to attend to only Europeans and Americans. The brown and black people were totally ignored (there were four of us and all of us noticed this). Two amongst us were vegetarians and they were resistant to giving any vegetarian food in room service - made such a fuss and wanted us to pay double. We have given feedback to the management and hope it is taken up seriously.

OK I know you must be bored by now reading all the fantastic reviews BUT here goes again, just got back from Mnarani after our second visit, (the only place my partner and I have EVER revisited !) On arrival we were blown away by the fact all the staff including Sean the F&B Manager remembered us after 12 months ! Met Henk & Elma for the first time (they were on holiday last year) what lovely people, spoke to us everyday it's almost embarrassing that you have nothing to complain about, on one occasion did mention to Sean that the aircon just wasn't up to scratch within 1 hour the whole unit was changed ! Beat that Cook, Virgin, all you wanna be's. Rooms are kept spotlessly clean, food is fantastic and you wont beat the service anywhere in the world, anyone who complains about a slow bar or waiter etc. ever tried giving 1/2hundred KShgs ? these wonderful people work for peanuts just a £1 a day goes a long way. About to book again for October next year, arranging a horse riding safari with James at Jawamu Tours, just over the road from hotel. 3 days before we were due to go home asked James for a one day overnight safari, boy did he come up trumps! Do not be afraid to go outside this guy has a reputation to keep. Thank You to all Mnarani staff Sean, Henk & Elma, Paul & friends on the pool, William, Chengo, Justus, Samson, Charles all the animation team, cant remember all your names guys but thank you all for yet another unforgettable holiday.
With huge Thanks Paul & Katrina. xxx```

Room Tip: I'm not going to what room I was in & will be booking it again but I will say what ever room you get I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is a great hotel, pretty much in every way. The pool is lovely, great service throughout, great selection of included activities too, like watersports, walks, etc. This hotel definitely has high standards. Compared to the costs of most other places we stayed in Kenya, this is an absolute bargain.

The only slight disappointment was with the food, as the buffet wasn't always amazing - although this is a slight disappointment - the food was generally as a very good standard. One good tip for this is the take advantage of the beach bar snacks and pizza (if you've had too much buffets).

Overall, this is a lovely hotel and I would highly recommend.
