We recently visited New Orleans with a large group (14 of our friends). All of us being in our 30's with children (our first ADULT vacation in a long time), we planned this trip way in advance. We chose this house because it accommodated all of us at the same location with every couple having their own room. When we arrived, we were told one of the houses (the guest house in the back) had been infested. Even though the owner knew 2 weeks earlier, we found out when we arrived. There was not enough rooms for all the couples and a few had to sleep on air mattresses in random spots. We paid ALOT of money for this place, but thought it would be worth it for the size of the group. The owner thought it wasn't necessary to refund the money for the rooms that were not available. Aside from the room problem, the house was dirty, the beds uncomfortable, and the neighborhood not the most desirable. After already paying the hefty rental fee way in advance, we chose to rent a hotel room after our second night in the house just to get a good nights sleep....which by the way, was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and so much cheaper. I would not recommend this house, however New Orleans is an absolutely amazing city!

Visited New Orleans with a large group of friends and do not recommend this house to anyone. We rented two houses on the same property and the second house apparently was infested with opossums. That's right opossums. The owner had known for two weeks and didn't bother to let us know. We ended up paying a lot of money to sleep on air mattresses which the owner was nice enough to purchase for us but declined to provide a credit for having to do so. If you don't care about the area, the house, and have cash to spare, then maybe you should consider this house. If you're smart though, you'll look elsewhere. Lots of nice places to stay in New Orleans, just not this place.

We were 10 ladies for a weekend. It was 2 separate buildings separated by a junky courtyard covered with leaves, old appliances, broken shutters and other trash There was piles of unfolded laundry on the washing machine Owners personal belongings were scattered around the house A lovely bar not accessible for the junk piled behind it Music system and most tvs didn't work. There was mold in a bathroom. A tiny 4 cup coffee pot that didn't work. Not mentioned on the website was the spiral staircase. A NIGHTMARE for anyone over 10. Street parking was tricky. Many more negatives. Trip advisor should re-rate this property. Highly overrated and overpriced
