Located close to the Garden District, this small, intimate restaurant excels in the quality of its food. A remodeled single-family home, the dining area is limited to about 10 tables. Service is friendly and attentive. The menu is not extensive, but each dish offered is perfectly prepared and nicely presented. The Foie Gras Torchon was excellent, as was the Duck Confit. In fact, it was the best duck confit we had in New Orleans during our visit. The roasted chicken was sumptuous! Served as half a chicken, the breast (which we would normally avoid) was moist and tender and redolent of flavor. The braised veal cheeks melted in your mouth and the pappardelle were al dente. To crown the evening, we had a wonderful bottle of Duckhorn Merlot and shared a hazelnut Crunch Cake. Highly satisfying.
