Based on Trip Advisor reviews, my wife and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. The warm muffuletta and the macaroni & cheese side were as delicious as advertised. WARNING: There is a sister restaurant, Cochon, that we accidentally walked into; this one, Cochon Butcher, is around the corner. It's a warehouse-district restaurant with exposed brick walls, high ceilings with exposed duct-work. Very nice. Probably worthy of five stars but it's really just a lunch place. Order your food, take the number to the table and they bring it out. Really worth it, though it is a bit of a walk from Canal Street.

A hipster paradise for lunch...

The staff is very professional and heavily tattooed and diverse group .

Sandwiches are really special with the highest grade meats you can imagine

We had a pork belly sandwich and a roasted chicken sandwich that were as tasty as heck , and could be the best in all of Nawlins.

It's owned by the famous Cochon restaurant next door, but this is the more casual outpost.

It is interesting that they take so much pride in their sandwich creations , that they don't accept any alterations to the ingredients .

We asked for one without cilantro Mayo, and they said "no alternations "

Wow! I was almost pissed off... but, they were right because the 'wich was perfect as originally created!!!!

I loved the atmosphere. I wanted to try so many things on the menu but went with the turkey sandwich and it was perfect! Friendly staff, quick service and quality food.

Great spot for some good home style New Orleans food. The boudin was really good with a nice smooth taste. Marinated Brussel sprouts and pickles and plenty of cheap choices.

The house cured meats range looked really cool and no doubt taste good.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff top off a good value meal.

So, the order taker was rude, the waiter brought out our appetizer before the drinks and when asked for our drinks, he took so long that we had finished the appetizer. The entrees were awesome and unique, but the server never checked on us again. If the service was good, I'd go back in a heart beat but the food was the star. Best boudin in New Orleans.
