After two decades that I am spending my summer holidays in Biograd, my first years as a child and now as a parent of child, I have mixed feelings about it. Its beautiful nature, pine tree forest with lots of perfect fresh air, beautiful see and coast, nice old town, and on the other side, so many (small) imperfections which normal average tourist could find. The only reason why I am giving a 5 star rating next to perfect nature is the perfect animation team. My daughter had a blast time because of the loving and friendly girls and boys from the animation team. Ana is sending tons of kisses to all of them. If on the other side, usual Dalmatia tourist provider (Camp Soline) would ever read this reviews and start giving a f..., they can contact me directly and then through a friendly chat I can enumerate all the (small) imperfections.

I have been here with my 3 kids for a week in july.
The place is nice and clean. The waterfront is OK.
The only issue is the terrible loud noise in the night. There is constant music so loud like its in your own head.
Friday and Saturday are particilarly bad.
So unless you are out for partying this is definitely not the place to come for a nice relaxing time.

Camp Soline is nice camping site with a great location and wonderful beach, which makes it desirable place to visit. On the other side, camp has issues with basic things such as non-functioning lamps throughout the camp and with hot/cold water in the toilet / shower / dishwashing facilities. Furthermore, they are very non-responsive to guest complains, it took them several weeks to fix lights (only one specifically mentioned in the written notice, not all in the camp) and they never fixed showers, despite the several complaints.
In addition, this is the second year that wi-fi in the camp is not functioning.
To summarise, although camp Soline is a beautiful place to visit, I believe it is not a 4-star facility.

Friendly and helpful staff, perfectly located next to the beach and the centre of Biograd is located on a 15 minute walk down the lively boulevard. Much privacy and nature on the campsite and a good restaurant.

I have stayed here three times before, the last time was in 2012. I returned this year with my family and was somewhat disappointed with what I found.

Firstly, lots of the camping pitches have been replaced with additional mobile homes. There seems to be an active move towards this and I wonder how much interest in touring campers they have these days.

Secondly, the showers and washing facilities are now very jaded and in much need of a complete overhaul. Very tired, damaged sinks and toilets and lots covered in graffiti.

Thirdly, there is a bar/nightclub somewhere close by, admittedly not on the camp site but close enough to be a real problem. Expect to be kept awake until the early ours virtually every single night. If you have young children you must avoid this site.

The "free" wifi was awful and frankly not worth logging in to.

The prices have been hiked to beyond UK prices. 1000 euros for 15 nights is far to high a price for what is on offer.

Frankly, I can no longer recommend this site and will likely not be returning. This is a shame because it is brilliantly located in Biograd with most pitches within a few hundred metres of the sea.

Room tip: Do not pitch near a tarmac road or too near the sea, you will be kept awake all night with passers by
