Owner description: For one of the best views of Seattle head to Kerry Park, a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill. A photo from here is Seattle postcard-perfect, featuring ferries crossing Elliott Bay, the city skyline with the Space Needle in the forefront and, if weather conditions are favorable, a view of Mt. Rainier.

If you are looking for the best views of Seattle that you can turn into your Holiday Postcard, this is the place to be. The views of the Seattle Skyline from this place are so amazing that you will not want to leave this place for 24 hours so as to catch the Seattle Skyline views at all times of the day. As an avid amateur photographer, I loved this place. But if you are interested in photography at sunset, you need to get there fast and early and reserve your spot. Its an open secret that this place has the best views and so everyone will be around at those times.

If you're looking to take a panoramic post card view of Seattle, this is the place to be. It is especially busy at sunset where people bring in their zoom lens DSLR cameras to take the perfect picture. From there one can not only see the city, including Space Needle as well as the waterfront. It is also close to downtown and easy to get to.

Kerry Park gives a really nice view of the city skyline. It is quite a walk uphill so we took a cab up and walked down. Worth the view though

This is a tiny little park up in the Queen Anne section of Seattle. Try to hit it as sunset or sunrise but come early as lots of people will have the same idea and parking can be hard to find. (I suggest taking a Lyft myself and then you don't have that worry and Lyft drivers are easy to find for the return trip as this is a popular place). If you are lucky and it is one of the 90-100 days of the year that you can see Mt. Rainier....you will get an amazing photo. Our family picture there is going to a canvas. It's a fabulous view anytime...but sunset and sunrise are the peak times. Free and worth the cost of the Lyft.....bring your cameras and cell phones....and your patience as you wait to work your way into the perfect spot.

You don't need to spend long here but you and everyone else will come for the view. Easily accessible via public transit (though you may have a nice walk up and down a steep hill depending on your route). I don't consider this a must see if in Seattle for a short visit, but if you're in Lower Queen Anne it may be worth the stop.
