Stayed at the Chelsea Station Inn for 2 nights. Instead of just a bedroom/bath, you have a beautiful, renovated 1920s apartment. Breakfasts are scrumptious and the hostess (Christina) was warm and inviting. A great find!
- Room Service
We stayed at Chelsea Station again last week, and on the drive home I was thinking about what to write here. Strangely enough when I pulled up my previous review, it was exactly the same as what I was thinking. Now there's some consistency there it seems. This is our go-to Seattle place to stay, i can say that it never disappoints. It probably sounds like I have a financial interest, but I don't. In fact rave reviews are likely a waste of time cuz I'm sure there are many, many, repeat customers.
We were so happy to have found this place, it far surpassed expectations even with all the great reviews. Our suite was more like a very upscale apartment, beautifully appointed with a full kitchen and high end appliances. We stayed two nights but would have been very comfortable staying a month. The bed linens, furniture, towels etc are first class. The location is very quiet, we had a suite on the second floor with a view of the park and street. The location is super convenient to access public transportation and for walking around. The zoo and Green Lake park are just across the street. The breakfast was scrumptious with options. The overall value for price is excellent. We will be back.
Our family of four stayed here for several days during Spring Break. It was very comfortable, clean, and the breakfasts were delicious! The room has plenty of space even with the couch folded out as a bed. It has a modern feel (no doilies!) which was great! Having snacks and beverages available was a blessing with two teens :)
We enjoyed running around Green Lake and found it very easy to navigate around the greater Seattle area from Chelsea Station.
We will definitely return if we travel to Seattle again!
With family living in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood, we travel to Seattle often. There are several excellent B&B's in the area, but we have found the Chelsea Station Inn to be far superior to its competitors. This was our fifth stay at Chelsea Station, which speaks for itself.
In contrast to most B&B's, the four C.S. units are actually spacious flats, with well appointed bed and bathrooms, but also dining and living rooms plus a small, very efficient, kitchen. We are able to entertain family at Chelse Station. In sum, Chelsea Station has come to feel like our home away from home.
Hot breakfasts are ample, varied and well prepared, with fresh fruit, granola and yoghurt always available as an alternative. Tempting snacks, like cheese & crackers, beer, and Hagen Daaz ice cream bars, are available 24/7 and Washington State wines are featured at happy hour. (A propos, there is an attractive outdoor seating area, with grill, for chilling out.)
Finally, the staff are skilled, friendly and knowledgeable. A shout out to Christina and Tess who served us so well on this visit.
By the way, we recommend flats 2 and 4 which front Linden St. and are quieter at night than 1 and 3, which face busy 50th St.
The staff do it all: cook breakfast, clean the rooms and handle requests with great attention to detail. The rooms are large, airy and beautifully appointed. Our sons and there families came for a take-out dinner get-together and the staff provided us with yogurt parfaits for the kids and gave us access to dinnerware and beverages for the evening. Since we had to leave for our plane at 4:30 AM, the staff presented us with a packed breakfast which would pass TSA check-in.
