It was our honeymoon. We have been positively surprised by :
-kindness of the staff
-bird singing all around
-quality of the 1 star the corot restaurant
-the lac and wood around
-the space and mini samples caudali in the luxuary room.
-the decoration of the hotel

This place is quite busy but so well designed that you don’t see many people.
We have enjoyed so much this time there!! Only bad point Wireless connection internet is not good

This is a charming small hotel set on a lake with the feel of the country but just outside of Paris. The staff were very friendly and helpful and most spoke English. The town is charming and has some quaint little restaurants.
We took the train which is a bit of a hike but doable from the hotel into Paris everyday and was a short 30 minute ride. It dropped us off in an area that was accessible to all kinds of things. On top of Paris being so close Versailles was even closer and worth the majority of a day!
If you want to stay away from the crowds in the city this is a wonderful choice. I did not get a chance to eat dinner at the hotel but it does have a Michelin restaurant inside. The breakfast buffet was lovely and lots of choices! I sure hope to stay here again.

Went for a girl's weekend away. Could not recommend more highly. Everything was perfect, the staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms stunning, the spa was incredible. The food (dinner and breakfast) out of this world. Also so many extra little details like the weather and grapes brought to the room... Absolutely amazing!

The welcome of this boutique and quite expensive hotel was up to the standard of the hotel, our room was nicely decorated and very spacious, amenities generous (of course from the Caudalie brand). Bedding was confortable and the room sound proofed. There is an underground parking and we were not charged for it which is worth mentioning. Our problem was the breakfast which was for various reasons not in accordance with the rest of the hotel (for exemple non dairy milk unavailable..) . Another disappointment was the shutdown of the jacuzzi in the morning at 10 am for a regular maintenance.....frustrating as we had intended to go back to. And lastly on the negative side; the worn daybeds in the spa lounge. This could have been excellent!!

My husband and I spent a week at the hotel with our 5 month old baby - this was our first trip abroad with her and we were pretty anxious about it!
We had no need though...from the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and Emmanuel and his team were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
We were given a wonderful room but after one night we asked if we could have one with a balcony. Emmanuel pulled out all the stops and put us in room 1 - Duc d'orleans. It was wonderful. Large, airy, room for the cot and a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard. They even provided us with a microwave so we could sterilise the baby bottles. So thoughtful.
All of the restaurants were fantastic. Great service and great food. Being 'foodies' we wanted to go to Corot restaurant with its 1 Michelin Star - with a baby??? Everyone at home laughed at the thought!!The staff at the hotel were so laid back and said we should do lunch for sure! So we did! Baby was fine and so we're the other guests and the staff. And when our baby woke up we had chocolates and tea in our room! The food was amazing and exceeded our expectations.
All in all this hotel and its staff were 5 star. On several occasions our baby woke upset during our dinner. We never felt uncomfortable and when this happened they bought our food up to our room so we could finish it whilst seeing to the baby. They were so considerate and caring.
Oh and the spa... best massage I've ever had and I've had quite a few! The hotel is well placed centrally and in a quiet and picturesque area next to the Etangs (lakes)... we had lovely walks around the lakes and woods each day. The village itself also has a great selection of shops and is close to both Versailles and Paris.
We were sad to leave but we will definitely be back. We highly rate this hotel. The staff make it - thank you for such a wonderful and memorable holiday.
