The Blue Lagoon is better than I thought it would be. The landscape is fairylike and weird, like something from another planet. The spa and the pool is magical. The steam from the hot pool makes everything look surreal and otherworldly. And it is so relaxing to float around in the water. There are small bridges you can swim under and a cave you can enter. They have a smart system so you can buy beverages without bringing money to the pool. I got a nice skyr smoothie, my boyfriend got a beer. We got a facial and an algae mask, witch was fun. There are free face mask with white silikats you can get at the other end of the pool, to. The white-faced people swimming around contributed to the surreal experience. I don´t know if it does anything for the skin, though (c;

A great bonus for us, was that the facilities probably is the most universal accessible spa we have been to. They had a pool wheelchair and a pool lift, and a separate wardrobe for people with disabilities. The only drawback was that many of the employees had not received the training to operate the lift, so they were quite clumsy...

The restaurant had a good lunch buffet, with nice maki, smoked salmon and gravalax, where you could eat in your bathrobe.

An amazing experience. I would definitely come back. Also, very romantic.

“Nice place to spend few hours”

Positive: The place was very beautifull and the free facialmasks were great. Negative: maybe too much people to relax enough.

“just ok!”

the place is amazing. the restaurant / cafe in the blue lagoon is very expensive .for a small plate of cesar salad will cost you nearly $30.00. the water is very relaxing . i advice that you shouldnt dip your hair to the water for it gets really sticky and hard to comb after you take a shower coz of the high content of sulfur in the water.

Number 1 on your visit to Iceland....but on our opinion the "Blue Lagoon" is way overrated, because the price is high (40 euros for a big bathtub, some stuff to put on your face and a sauna), people can eat and drink in the lagoon wich we think is not very hygienic. The empty cups and icecream-sticks are all over the place. We recommend to go to a pool just on the side of the road.... "Thats Icelandic"
