Busy strip of (seemingly) mediocre restaurants and clothing stores. We couldn't understand the point - maybe all appealing to college students? But why was there a Penzey's spices!

Yummy restaurants and lots of nice boutiques. Very few major chains more local small bysinesses. On street parking can be a little hard to find. Nice place to stroll around on a warm night.

If you love to browse thru junk shops, consignment stores and antiques this is the place for you. The variety is large and you have to hunt for the treasures. There are a couple nice restaurants scattered through the area with inside and outside seating. You can kill several hours walking the area. Parking is on the street and you may have to explore side streets to find a parking place.

Carytown is such a great little part of Richmond. There is no shortage of unique shops and dining experiences to take in. It's great for a family outing, a date day/night, or just to wander by yourself! If you have visitors that are not from the area, this is a must see for your guests!

I really enjoy Carytown for the shopping and the dining. There is consignment and high end all together so no matter your budget you’ll find something. Parking is free and fairly easy
