Richmond is a great city for foodies. More options than you can shake a stick at. Even strip malls serve up great eats. Toast is a fine example.
We took our daughter to lunch and found even Monday to be crowded. The unique artwork drew our attention and we wondered if it is rude to stare at a generously tattooed server. The service was excellent.
The selections were a little overwhelming but the bride went with the crab cake sandwich and I got the fish and beef tacos. Seriously, I could snack on those sweet potato tots and siracha sauce all day.
All in all a great Virginia lunch. Will definitely be back.

The beer list had something for everyone, and those of us who opted for the unique cocktails were likewise very pleased. The Reuben spring rolls and the fried pickles/jalapenos were great choices for appetizers. Most of us chose our meals from the daily specials--my pork tenderloin was delicious! Luckily, we arrived early enough for a comfortable table for 5, plus several of the drinks were still available at Happy Hour prices. This was graduation weekend at Richmond's largest university, so we wanted to stay away from the downtown area. Parking here was easy!

Went for brunch on Saturday, and although it was packed, we got served promptly on our food arrived well-prepared, and timely! Try the Breakfast Bowl, unique and tasty!

We arrived close to 9 at night and it was actually quite busy. They do serve an assortment of beers and a few different wines but nothing sweet or semi-sweet. The menu had a good variation of food choices, portion sizes and prices are spot on as well. We first tried the black truffle fries, which were really good with the truffle oil. Dinner wise: He tried the meatloaf wrapped in bacon. It was very good and moist with a grilled taste. It also was about two pounds of meat; be hungry or take home. I had the Cuban pork tenderloin. It was pink in areas which made me nervous but unfortunately it was also very dry on the outside with guacamole as a dressing. I wish the guacamole were slices because it would have looked a little more appearing. Overall for the money it was good but unlikely we will go back. Side note: pretty clean place but flooring needs to be kept up.

Food was good but it took forever for us to be seated and forever for the food to arrive. The spaghetti squash and "meatballs" was average and very high priced. The other people in my party said theirs was good.
