The dinner-sized portions were abundant, the view of the mountain was lovely on a summer eve, and the wait staff attentive. The wine drinkers appreciated the local wine that was 10 Euros a bottle-even stayed to finish a bottle ordered after we finished the meal.

We ate Menu del Día which was plenty of delicious and local food, but very cheap. The service was very quick and effective. Excellent!

This restaurant/bar is located on a car park but don’t let that put you off. We ate outside on a shady terrace with lovely views beyond the cars in what turned out to be a peaceful spot.
The food was good without excelling in any area. Dessert was a very bland affair with chocolate sauce out of a bottle and spray on cream, disappointing for anywhere that employs a chef. The lamb chops were good, though, and served with fresh vegetables. The house wine was very good.
Service was friendly and efficient and having looked at the other places in Grazalema the choice depends on whether you want somewhere that is bustling and noisy or somewhere a little quieter and away from the coach parties. If you prefer the latter then this place is worth a look.

Had the Menu del Dia here as ate here some years ago and remembered it had been good and the staff friendly... the intervening years had changed nothing- food was excellent and the staff attentive and friendly...
Returned for dinner and results very much the same.
There are other restaurants that are closer to the main square and may be marginally cheaper, but walk the extra few paces to El Simancon... I don’t think you’ll be disappointed...

looking for somewhere to have something cool to eat or drink and for this reason it was perfect. so i can only give 3 stars because we had not really eaten lunch nor dinner.

BUT, what we did have was very refreshing and good. the melon was sssssooooo tasty and juicy and the lemon ice served in a frozen lemon skin...great idea!
