Super hotel in lively small town. Music in the square at night, lots of restaurant options within walking distance, many little boutiques and shopping stops. Close to several stunning beaches with cliffs and clear water. We walked to a fantastic beach one day and took the bus to beach another day. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious (home made chocolate spread for bread, fresh fruits, home made yogurt, cheeses and cured meats).

This hotel was very neat and the location was excellent. Unfortunately we didn't have service to call when we arrived so we emailed that we were there and waited around for a half hour to be let into our room so make sure you call in advance of getting there because there is not always someone at the reception. We had a comfortable and quiet night's sleep and enjoyed the breakfast. Keep in mind that if you want to visit any beaches this town is located pretty far from them and having a rental car is really nice.

It isn't often you find an hotel that will call you back year after year but the Cluc Hotel Begur is one of them. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Elena gave us loads of information which made our three day visit incredibly easy and interesting. The hotel itself is lovingly and beautifully "created". Everywhere the attention to detail can be seen from the huge glittering chandeliers to the small candles left out at night, the luxurious tones of the bed head, the curtains, the bedspread and the little sack on the wall holding the hairdryer, to the perfectly positioned chairs on the terrace, to the warm terracotta stone floors and the unusual and individual containers and plants in the garden. The breakfast is all home made with wonderful yoghurt, pastries, ham and cheeses, jams including quince jam, fresh orange juice and excellent quality teas and coffee. There is a lift for luggage and air conditioning. You get to live in a mansion built on Cuban wealth with modern facilities and beautiful artistic refinements. A wonderful and aesthetically beautiful quiet hotel.

This is the best place to stay in Begur. It has beautiful rooms, very quiet and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast. Staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Great. I cannot recommend it more.

We had a wonderful stay at Cluc Hotel. Things that especially stand out: the warm and attentive service of all the staff, the incredibly comfortable beds (I am not kidding, this bed was the best I have ever slept in - I still need to ask where I can find this mattress), the elaborate and tasty breakfast and the tasteful decoration. Oh, and the location is perfect if you are looking to stay in the heart of Begur. We stayed here in June 2017 at the end of our honeymoon for two nights, and would have loved to stay a week longer if we could! Highly recommended.

Room tip: Rooms 1-4: ground floor, beautiful high ceilings but no private balcony. 3 & 4 do have doors to shared patio, where breakfast is served
