It isn't often you find an hotel that will call you back year after year but the Cluc Hotel Begur is one of them. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Elena gave us loads of information which made our three day visit incredibly easy and interesting. The hotel itself is lovingly and beautifully "created". Everywhere the attention to detail can be seen from the huge glittering chandeliers to the small candles left out at night, the luxurious tones of the bed head, the curtains, the bedspread and the little sack on the wall holding the hairdryer, to the perfectly positioned chairs on the terrace, to the warm terracotta stone floors and the unusual and individual containers and plants in the garden. The breakfast is all home made with wonderful yoghurt, pastries, ham and cheeses, jams including quince jam, fresh orange juice and excellent quality teas and coffee. There is a lift for luggage and air conditioning. You get to live in a mansion built on Cuban wealth with modern facilities and beautiful artistic refinements. A wonderful and aesthetically beautiful quiet hotel.
