This small pizzeria is off one of the squares in the old part of Besalu on the way down to the river. There are just a few tables but this increases the feeling of authenticity and welcome. The menu is in English which is useful as there are varieties of pizza that I have not seen elsewhere including those with truffle oil. There was plenty of choice for the vegetarian. The owner chef was engaging and clearly wanted feedback on the food. The kitchen is part of the dining room and watching the pizza being made is part of the experience. Pizza was excellent and great value.
