Modern interior in an old building. Nice, minimalist decor. Our room at the front looked onto the port which was nice. We were on the first floor, maybe higher rooms would have a view of the sea also, but it was nice anyway. Clean room, nice to have a bath and a shower. Staff friendly and good free wi-fi. Perfect position for the town, castle, port and many restaurants. Hard to think of any bad points, the TV is a bit small, but maybe I'm used to a bigger one, not a problem. Would stay again.

Room Tip: The view of the port at the front is very nice.

Stayed here on a stopover for one night and was very pleased with the whole experience.
The chap on reception when we arrived (Gerard), was first class. He helped me locate the garage for parking, which is very secure and only 100 metres from the hotel reception. (May be worth dropping your bags off before parking if heavy or large....). The garage has large bays which was a bonus..... easy to park.
Gerard also explained where to go in the town for tapas etc and recommended a visit to the new marina which was worth seeing.
The room although small was very well appointed, like the rest of the hotel it had a very modern, contemporary feel to it. Even down to the Mark Rothko print in the room. Bed linen and towels were all excellent. Bathroom is very cramped but once again, very modern and clean. We had a sea view room that overlooked the new marina, and although early January looked great even at night. (Could be a lot of traffic and street noise in the summer months, therefore would recommend requesting a room on a high floor).
Breakfast was more than adequate, fresh fruit, boiled eggs and bacon etc.
The hotel is very central for the town and harbour area.
I would like to return and spend a few nights here as the hotel is excellent and the town has lots to offer.

Room Tip: Choose a high floor to avoid street noise.

Having already stayed at Posada del Mar (next door), we thought we'd try El Rasat.

Could not fault it, clean modern lines, Room 202 must be one of the best rooms in the hotel, being a corner room and having 4 sets of French windows overlooking the marina from all angles.

Spotlessly clean, very swish bathroom with double sinks and french windows to a small balcony.

Unlike the last reviewer, we found the breakfast more than ample for our needs. Eggs, meats, fresh orange juice, good coffee, cereals, lots of lovely fresh fruit, pastries, cakes, and a selection of bread. We arrived at 9.45 which was a good time, as by 10.00 the little breakfast area was full.

The reception staff were efficient and friendly, as was the lady who kept the breakfast buffet topped up and the tables cleared.

Would highly recommend this hotel

Room Tip: Upgrade to a superior room, well worth the cost, spacious and great views

Very nice hotel clean room great location the staff were very helpful. There was no tea or coffee making facility's in the room but there was a mini bar. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the town. The breakfast I felt to be poor but adequate if I went to Denia again I would stay at the hotel next door looked very nice and a four star about the same price.
