We stayed in the Pine cabin at the Mounthaven Cabins, Trailer and RV Park and really loved it. There was a wood buring stove, a small kitchen and bathroom with two small bedrooms. The cabin felt very cozy. It was apparently very old, but for us, it added to the charm of the place. The owners were quite friendly. The cabin was clean and we loved the grounds. A small creek ran right outside our cabin, with many tall tree's growing throughout the campground. Deer could be seen eating in the driveway every morning which was a real treat for our Hawaii born children. Mt. Rainier was a very close drive from this wonderful location. I would love to return someday.

We have stayed at Mounthaven both in a cabin and with our RV. The cabins are the perfect mountain getaway. The scenery is beautiful. Best of all is the excellent service and hospitality. The facilities and service get better with each visit! I highly recommend Mounthaven.

Traveled to Rainier earlier this month and stayed one day at MountHaven. The cabin was old and not in good shape. The service was mediocre and the attitude was confrontational. If you are going to Rainier there are some really great places to stay but this isn't one of them.
