It was a real privilege to be able to stay in such a gorgeous property, difficult to do it justice but we were impressed with our room (401) and with the whole property. Service was good and we could not fault any element of our stay

A large celebration of family and friends in a lovely genteel setting. The catering by the on site restaurant was delicious.
My only complaint would be, that the one bathroom was not sufficient for a large group.

We ended up here near lunchtime and ate at The Castle restaurant on the property. We were seated in a lovely alcove overlooking the pool. Service was friendly and prompt. The manager came to talk to us as we were leaving and offered lots of local information. It appeared to be popular with locals. An added plus was by dining there we had free access to a tour of Dunleith Hall. Nice tour and lovely home. They do have guests staying there.

We ended up in Natchez when the state of emergency was declared in NOLA. The staff is wonderful. We stayed in the courtyard rooms, and they are beautifully appointed and luxurious. The grounds are beautiful. The home is everything you think it should be and more. Our tour guide was witty and very informative. We had dinner in "the pub" ordering off of the restaurant menu. We ordered appetizers and shared. The Ceasar Salad, the sliders, the fried oysters, the sweet potato pancake with pork belly - YES YES AND YES PLEASE. And, always enjoy an apple brandy old fashioned...trust me. The complimentary breakfast the next morning - fantastic.

My hubby and I travel a few times a year from Texas to East MS to visit family. After this year we are adding an overnight stay at Dunleith to the end of every one of these trips!
This place is beautiful! We stayed in the Main House and had a beautifully appointed room with antiques and a four poster bed with canopy. Grounds were beautiful magnolias and oak trees and we enjoyed rocking on the veranda, cool breezes, and peace and quiet.
We ate dinner onsite at the Castle and it was top notch. Gumbo, crab cakes, creme brûlée, crown and coke, best dinner we've had in quite a while - and coming from Dallas you know we have options!
Relaxed in the jetted tub and saw a huge owl outside our window. He was spectacular!
After a great night's sleep we had breakfast and it was also awesome! Grits, gravy, biscuits, bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit, pancakes, hash browns, cereal, muffins, bananas, coffee, juice- all wonderfully seasoned and plenty (included with the room).
We WILL stay as often as we can when we come through MS. The detour from Vicksburg to Natchez was well worth it!
If you are traveling I20 please consider doing the same and you will love it!!
