Loved this spot for exploring Natchez on foot. The breakfast was bear bones, but the room was comfortable. The key was the location overlooking the river and walking distance to some great food an fun.

Our breakfast isn't currently including bear bones . . . but bears would probably love to have a taste. Just kidding! Sounds like you're a walking enthusiast. Walkers are our kind of people. We're right downtown so that you can explore at your leisure. There are some lovely views from the bluffs. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!

When we come to Natchez to bowl, we always stay at the Natchez Grand Hotel. The rooms are nice & spacious, the location is excellent--right on the river & close to many excellent restaurants. Employees are courteous & helpful.

Our stay here was fine. This place is your basic american hotel, not cheap, not fancy.

Good location and the room was nice.

the breakfast was fairly good, but get there as early as you can. if you arrive at breakfast at the tail end there will be a line and they might be out of some items. Breakfast had - cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon, juice, toast, waffles...

Room Tip: water view

Dear Alex T,

We hope to "wow" every one of our guests. It sounds like you were comfortable but that your stay was not outstanding.
I hope that, should you return to Natchez, you might consider staying with us again. I'm positive that we can amaze you!

This was a nice hotel and location for exploring Natchez. It sits across the road from the river. Walking Distance to many of the sites. We rented a suite with the balcony. However, it was too hot outside to enjoy. The bed was comfy and the room very spacious. The kitchenette is nice, but doesn't have a single utensil, glass, or plate.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Tripadvisor.

I really appreciate the detail about the kitchenette. We will discuss this at our next Managers' meeting.

We stayed only one night at the Grand. We chose this location for convenience to what we had planned. Located in the historic district. The hotel was clean and comfy. The staff friendly. The walls are a little thin, and the faucets a little drippy, but nothing too much to ruin the stay. Was close to several popular clubs/restaurants and tourism venues. Right across the street from Natchez Convention Center. The elevators were REALLY slow, and I was scared we were gonna get stuck once, but all turned out OK. We did not try out the continental breakfast, and since the hotel charges a "convenience fee" which includes the breakfast, you are losing money if you don't at least try it. The river view is great, historic view is just street view.

Dear Amy H,

Thank you for spending the night at the Grand! We are starting extensive renovations this fall, so that those "quirks" you were kind enough to tolerate will be a thing of the past.

We hope to see you return soon!
