Gorgeous hotel, with stunning views for the beautiful Ilhabela! My room was a little tight, but was ok!!! Not a big deal!!!
Perfect place to just relax, enjoy Ilhabela and appreciate the atmosphere!!!

We stayed in one of the lower rooms, which had enough privacy without being too detached from the action. The rooms were well equipped, cleaned every day well, with a nice bathroom. The pool area was nice, the gym was well appointed and outdoor, and there are a couple of nice bar areas overlooking the water. Probably the best thing for me was the English speaking front desk staf for- making for an easier time getting things done. They also have free wifi, which is temperamental but not available in rooms.

Stunning views, including a panoramic elevator with beach views, clean and comfortable bedroom, awesome bathroom, delicious food and happy staff. Breakfast has lots of options with Brazilian fruits and various types of bread. I did not had lunch or dinner over here so I can't tell how good it is. I definitely recommend staying here. Keep in mind that there's no beach, only a pier to jump off all day! :)

We stayed for the weekend (low season). Overall our stay was okay: service is average, the room was clean, the views are great and the common areas were quiet, good for relaxation moments at the sound of sea waves.

We didn't have lunch on the hotel because we saw some not-so-good reviews on tripAdvisor about this, but it is located close to other restaurants, so that didn't bother us.

The only problem was that we booked a Pacuiba room because we saw on the hotel's website that it offered a queen size bed. As we are a tall couple, this is very important for us. We arrived late in the night and for this reason we didn't want to report the issue right away, but the room has a regular bed, not a queen size one. The room (#25) is tight and there isn't space for a queen size bed on it.

Note: The hotel is close to the ferryboat (approximately 2km by car).

Note 2: There are a lot of stairs on this hotel, because it is built on the hillside. You can't access the sea without going down a huge staircase. Although the rooms have access through an elevator, it does not reach the restaurant.

One of the top Hotel experiences I have ever had. The prices were more than reasonable, and the views from our room (#2)..... awe inspiring. The staff were top notch and were more than capable of deciphering my pitiful Portuguese. One morning while swimming near their dock the owner, Artur, came down and asked if we would like to go on a boat ride. He than took us on a beautiful trip around the island explaining landmarks and pointing out wildlife. Every time we saw him from that time on around the hotel he would great us by name. I look forward to staying here again.

Room tip: Room # 2 and # 13 were top notch
