What a place! Highly recommended. GREAT service, great rooms, very well made, classy. A definate top 3 in my experience. The rooms are amazing with great beds and furniture. Location is within walking distance for City Creek or other downtown establishments. Great belldesk service.

Room Tip: King bed superior on the higher levels.

This is the most wonderful hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay. The rooms are more like apartments, with beautiful furniture, and plush, plush, plush, towels, mattress, pillows, couch, chairs. Proper lighting!!! The Pool and Spa are the finest. I had my hair done in the salon, and they treated me like royalty. This would be the perfect honeymoon hotel, because you would have two reasons not to leave the room, the first being, the room itself!!! The lobby bar is so nice and the staff are so friendly. This is one of those hotels, that make the vacation very special. You could spend the day here just relaxing and not miss a thing!

Room Tip: I am on the 24th floor - what a view of the city.

By far one of the most profound hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel redefines grandeur. It is unbelievably beautiful and when you stay here you are engulfed in the lap of luxury. I felt like a pampered princess and I will forever be grateful that I had the opportunity to stay in such a glorious hotel.

On December 21, 2011 I stayed overnight at the Grand America Hotel with my daughter and 3 granddaughters before going to Park City for the holidays. I took the shuttle 10 minutes from Salt Lake City airport to the Grand America Hotel, Salt Lake City's only AAA Five Diamond Hotel. From the hotel I took the convenient public transportation train10 minutes to Historic Temple Square for a wonderful afternoon. My daughter and 3 granddaughters arrived that evening and we enjoyed our spacious luxury room. The next morning we had the breakfast buffet at the Garden Cafe; photos with Santa and Mrs Claus; strolled around the holiday window displays, gingerbread creation, and collection of antiques and works of art; had fun in the children's toy store; enjoyed the harp player; and swam in the luxury indoor swimming pool.

This is a beautiful hotell with large and very nice rooms. A highlight is the fantastic lobby bar with live harpe music in the afternoon and live piano music in the evenings. A minor dissapointment is that the fireplace in the lobby is fake and based on gas, a real fire would have added a lot of atmosphere.

Room Tip: Higher floors are recommended for a better view of the mountains surrounding Salt Lake City.
