Great fun for adults and kids alike. Interactive areas and dinosaur displays are noteworthy. Our group of seven enjoyed this nice museum.

I enjoyed the Native American part of the museum the most since the focus was on experiences of Native American tribes around Utah. The Land part was also interesting as unique to Utah and surrounding area. The rest of the museum was nice but flow was lacking some. I like museums where I don't have to decide where to go next, the design leads me to the next logical place. Wouldn't recommend going during the weekend or when it is raining as very crowded with kids running around. The one part of the museum (Nature's Ultimate Machines) wasn't Utah related which was disappointing since the name is Natural History Museum of Utah but it had plenty to do for the kids. Land and sky part is kinda a waste when there isn't any view from rooftop terrace. The Gems and Minerals section isn't that impressive. Overall if you have nothing else to do check it out but otherwise I wouldn't recommend going. Plenty of parking. Tickets are cheaper if bought online.

I travel very frequently and visit museums often. My family and I were extremely impressed with the five levels of displays, the technology-based exhibits, and of course the dinosaurs. If you are in the Salt Lake City area, I highly encourage you to visit this beautiful and interesting museum. I would suggest that you allow at least four hours for a visit.

100 4th graders running around. There were lots of interactive exhibits to keep the kids busy. The museum workers were organized kept them on task for lunch times and explaining the rules. Bright and clean.

First time, I hwave myself 3 hours... Not enough time. Second four hours, third 5 hours. 5 hours is perfect if you like reading signs and taking in information.
