Market Street is one of the few places in Salt Lake to get fresh sea food. I'll go in just to enjoy their chowder and bread. It's not a creamy chowder but one of the best I've had anywhere. Oysters are fresh and I get King Crab. It's fairly pricey and you can buy raw fish to take home. Aside from Park City restaurants, Market Street is the standard in SLC

Market Street Grill is always on the to-do list on our annual ski trip to UT. Food and service are always of a high quality and the early bird specials are great.

Dinner for 8 at this modern and comfortable restaurant. Great atmosphere when u enter with raw bar and market counter for seafood takeaway. Friendly and very attentive staff. Michelle was patient explaining menu and options and gave excellent recommendations. Chowder and seafood was superb. Halibut fresh from Alaska was a good choice along with surprisingly tasty broccoli. Food was so good we got take away chilli, chowder, and shrimp for dinner at house following evening. Fruit tart desert was a great finish to an excellent meal. Prices on the high side but excellent value for quality of food. Highly recommend if you are visiting Ski areas in Salt Lake City.

The ambiance and service were top notch, and the oysters were fresh and well-presented. I enjoyed the evening and certainly will keep this on my list of places to return to - especially for the oysters. The rest of the food, while very good, didn't blow me away. Bread/butter delivery/refills lagged a bit but it was a busy evening.

We always enjoy going to the Oyster Bar for dinner or lunch out. The seafood selections are always good. Love the salmon, crab or shrimp Louie salads, tilapia picata, halibut, crab cakes and especially the clam chowder and the gulf shrimp cocktail. They always have a fresh catch special. The bread is fabulous. Favorite desserts are the key lime pie and sabayon with berries. They have steak and burgers, but we always go for the seafood.

This restaurant is a bit pricey based upon what you order, but always quality food. You can get a great meal for a reasonable price.

The wine selection is extensive and you pay accordingly. I think the corkage policy is no corkage for the first bottle you bring and $10 for additional bottles. Call to verify that, please.

I often stop at the fish market there and get a container of clam chowder with a loaf of bread for $8.99 for dinner. We have been patrons of the Market Street Restaurants since the 1970s and were thrilled when the Cottonwood restaurant opened.

Very busy during ski season as the restaurant is close to the ski resorts. We have always had good service. No, we don't have an invested interest in the company. I guess you could say we are just fans of a great place to dine.
