The food was outstanding! The server brought out chips, green salsa and fresh made pico. We ordered a Parillada for 2 and it was very similar in flavor to what we get at Kiki's in Harlingen but without the excessive grease.
A cup of charro beans came complementary with the meal and they had a wonderful smokiness from the bacon. A squeeze of lime and a spoonful of pico gave the beans the perfect balance of salty/sour/smoky flavor.
