look for somewhere else,
room had a odor of sewage couldn't tell if from the tub water or toilet.I had booked prior on Booking and had to cancel due to family emergency, and was told by family don't cancel so we rebooked and were charged twice for same night, even though the cancellation was a day prior to the date booked. Confirmation email said room was smoking as we wanted but got there and it wasn't and all of their smoking rooms ( all 2) were already booked. told if we smoked in the room a $200 fee would be charged, though right outside our room on the a/c unit was a ashtray.
When i called about being charged twice I was told to take it up with the site I used to book the room and I hadn't cancelled the original reservation, which i have a email confirmation of and when checking in we discussed with the man behind the desk and the woman who I was on the phone with.

Room Tip: Best advise- look elsewhere.

Respectfully We Are A US Navy Family who was unexpectedly impacted by last years 2015 FEMA Texas Flooding Presidential Disaster Declaration in the Austin Texas surrounding area losing our home due to no fault of our own. We received help from a local agency here in Albuquerque, NM while we are in search of permanent housing to feel whole again and were immediately setup with a home away from home here at the Knights Inn in downtown Albuquerque conveniently situated beside Interstate I-25 and across from Presbyterian Albuquerque Hospital. The manager Chris and his wife, and U.S. Military Veteran Robert have been so nice helping us with accommodations during our stay, apparently the they have had some not so nice previous tenants during their stay which at first made us feel as a military family judged and not so comfortable, yet overall we are a blessed family whom have dedicated and served our country honorably again Overall this is a great place to stay and highly recommend!! ;-)
Best Wishes,
Chance Birdsall & Lester Hood

Check-in, friendly quick and a humorous clerk (5)
Room, comfortable quiet, but a hose was left out by the front for an ugly entrance to the room. (4)
Internet, good (4)
Breakfast, later than advertised (1)
Check-out, slow and the clerk (different than the night before) was obviously not awake (2)

I love this small hotel, situated directly across Central Ave. from upscale Hotel Parq Central where you can run up to the rooftop for a fantastic view of the city & cocktails, etc. I discovered this small motel when it was called the Stardust Inn ~2011 & it joined the Wyndham Knight's Inn chain shortly thereafter. The non-smoking rooms (the only ones I've used) are efficient & tastefully decorated in SW motif so you know exactly where you are. Bathrooms squeaky clean & beds the BEST I've ever slept in, including @ home!! An outdoor pool & easy walking distance to RailRunner & good restaurants. Plus you can't beat the price. I don't stay anywhere else now in ABQ! Just spent 5 days there this past month! The owner & staff are very accommodating & consistent--the same wonderful people every time I'm there.

Room Tip: Choose non-smoking, if you are non-smoker!!

After reading reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to try this Knights in. As other reviews said, it's not fancy, however, it IS clean and meets the needs of a traveler and the price was right! The bed was very comfortable, in fact, I missed it during our week of travel! The owner was around and very nice and helpful as was the gentleman at the front desk. The location is great and the pool was clean and spacious. We were so satisfied with our overnight stay when we arrived in Albuquerque that after a week of travel throughout parts of New Mexico and Colorado, we decided to stay there again the night before we flew home. So, there you have the answer to "Would we stay there again?" YES!
