We needed accommodations that were accessible to a wheel chair, and unit E2 was perfect! The rooms were spacious, the shower had good grab bars, the entry way was a gradual ramp. In addition, the rooms all had very comfortable furniture, the kitchen was very well appointed and the shower was very quick to get hot water. The location, of course, right on the river and just a couple of miles from the National Park, cannot be beat! The managers were friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay!

Room Tip: E2 is great for handicapped travelers, Any in that row would be good for others, as they are first floor only and right on the river.

We stayed in Bear Paw #8 in September 2016. Lovely second-floor condo with full kitchen, living area and king-size bed. Very quiet with the sound of the creek in front. Perfect location to get back & forth from both Estes Park and RMNP. There was a herd of elk that greeted us a few mornings in the grassy area of the resort next door - we could hear the bugling of the bull around sunrise!

Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others. Only suggestion would be to somehow fit a nightstand next to the bed with a clock.

Very nice, well kept. Staff is awesome, elk right outside the door! Beautiful river out the back door. We got a handicap room, wish we would have had a standard room. Jacuzzi tub was small and kitchen and bathroom were awkward because everything was at a nonstandard height...

Room Tip: Request a non-handicap room if they try to put you in one...

We loved our Bear Paw condo. It fit our needs perfectly. Our condo was very well appointed, comfortable, and maintained. We will definitely be planning another stay with Bear Paw, and are already looking forward to it.

We came for the ScotFest in early September. We were a little concerned about being out of town, but it was actually perfect. Estes Park is crazy busy and the traffic around the downtown can be ridiculous. Being a few miles up Fall River Road took all of the chaos away.

We had the one bedroom condo (#7) in Bear Paw. The place was in really nice condition. Everything worked perfectly and we were very comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The complex is quiet and relaxing. Next time in Estes, we'll certainly stay there again.

We took the Estes Shuttle to town. It picks up about 150 yards from the entrance to Bear Paw. Very convenient, but not terribly prompt. They also don't run in the off season. Don't miss the last bus or you'll have a challenge finding a cab back.
