We sat at the bar with friends. We are staying at the hotel and received a $25.00 gift card from the concierge which helped as this is a fine dining restaurant. I started out with a great Lemon Drop Martini made by Shakira. We were served comp. potato chips then bread with Chardonnay and champagne butter. I had the 6 oz. Filet Mignon (40.95)
and my husband had the crab legs (47.50). Mine was served with a small portion of delicious potatoes. My husbands was served with nothing so he had to order a baked potato (11.50). I thought, for that price, they could have served the small portion of potatoes. The food was great but what really made it a good evening were the bartenders, Shakira and Lydia. They were on the ball and very friendly. Instead of dessert, I had the Dark Chocolate Martini with truffles . Wow!

So glad we gave this place a try! We were hesitant because we associated it with Outback, but the two are night and day! Our service was awesome from Matt B, he answered all of our questions and the meal flowed perfectly. We opted for the prix fixe menu as it was a great bargain; salad, a side (HUGE potato), and dessert included with an 8 oz filet and shrimp or lobster tail. The steaks were cooked perfectly and Matt even allowed us to switch out our salads from the one that came with the deal. The dessert was also amazing and should be put on the menu permanently! The cookie sandwich with gelato was good enough, but the caramel and fresh whipped cream could've been a dessert by themselves. If you're in the mood for great service and food while in Providence, you cannot go wrong here!

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar – Providence, RI – 8/15/2016

If you are looking to be WOW’d, you've come to the right place. The setting; a rich steakhouse motif… Dark woods, white linen table service and an orchestra of glasses choreographed on each table… Simply beautiful…

House baked SourDough served warm with a Champagne Infused Smoked Cheddar and Champagne Infused Brie. I'm a sucker for freshly baked bread and baked in house as opposed to bringing in par-baked?, mega points here! Deeeeelicious!

Seafood Chowdah… Creamy base overloaded with generous chunks of seafood that can only be described as a net full of fresh seafood jumping around in your mouth… Fabulous! Between consistency and flavour, it really doesn't get any better than this…

Then the table next to mine sent over the Burrata appetizer for me as a surprise. Unlike any Burrata I've had anywhere else… A pot of Burrata nicely plated with Blistered Cherry Tomatoes, Greens and these incredible Garlic Butter Herbed Toast Points… Not only visually erotic in a FoodPorn kind of way but like food Legos that you need to build… the colors are so vibrantly beautiful you almost feel guilty for eating it!

And for the main this evening… The Chilean Sea Bass… Sautéed and braised in a light SouthWest-style Broth, Wilted Greens, Crisp Potatoes with a Chili-Cilantro Oil… Wow! Where do I even begin?! Light in body yet full in flavour like a larger meal… You enter a sort of foodie Nirvana yet when it's over, it's like mini foodgasms that just keep pulsing thruout your palate…

Although the dessert lust was extremely tempting, I opted for just my signature Cappuccino instead… Add that to all of the things they do extremely well. I particularly appreciated the fresh Cinnamon Stick served with it… Nice touch!

My server Cynthia was great with her recommendations and honoring the pace set forth in my dining preferences. Also a nice touch was the manager; Manual coming over afterwards to make sure that all of my expectations were met. Honestly, they far exceeded them. It was a spectacular dining experience and I will definitely be back. You will love it.

We are familiar with the brand and have had great dinners at Fleming's at multiple locations across the country. This was no different except this time we took our 7 and 4 year old for a special occasion. The staff were very accommodating. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the wine special for the night (50% off a bottle of Duckhorn Merlot - a favorite) was a welcome surprise.

Flemings has a nice atmosphere and the food was even better, I had the Tuna and my wife had the ribeye and both dinners were delicious. We bafely had room for dessert so they packed it and we ate it later in the room.
