Ivy is a local pub, a bit short on "ambience" (hey - it's a pub!), but lots of character and excellent food. Wings are excellent; burgers are superb. Just about everything is really, really good. Now, it is a pub and not a fine dining establishment - but no doubt there's a wide array of menu options that reside above typical bar food, but below gourmet. However, for those who want a local pub; grab the game on TV (most seats) and get a great meal - Ivy is a can't miss. Not the place for the world's best martini - more of a beer place; but once you stop, you'll keep coming back!

On a busy Saturday afternoon, we popped in & were immediately greeted & seated by the friendly bartender. That was so nice!

I got Oysters on the half shell which you can order individually or by the dozen. I like that concept.

Husband got a humongous Rueben sandwich which he said was one of the best he had ever eaten. NOTE: He orders them whenever we dine out for lunch!!

Small inside, table tops are worn out & cracked.

This place was recommended for their burgers and they didn't disappoint. Really delicious burgers and fries. Service was a little rough. One woman was serving the whole place- makes it hard to respond quickly to requests.

What an amazing find! Korean food, dive bar and great draft beers! You possibly cannot go wrong with that, even though I'm biased towards Korean food as such. :)

Tucked away on hope street, it is a small unassuming bar with not much seating inside but is a perfect 'watering hole'. Even though I just got a simple cocktail, the mood and ambiance were perfect.

4 stars only because I didn't get to try any of the food, I'd already eaten before that. But I'm so def coming back to try it and just to relax and chill :) PS they also have 1$ oysters on Sunday!

Went on a Friday evening, place was packed. Has a small bar and a few tables. Mainly services American fair, but has a couple Korean inspired dishes. Service was great. Prices were fair to pretty cheap for Providence - think $10-15 for an entree. However, the food wasn't very good. It had little flavor. I tried the Korean pulled pork - it was pulled pork that had a deep fried bread coating to it that texture wise was very unpleasant and the sauce was just straight Gochujang. I love Korean food, and I love using gochujang in cooking, but if you are making a pulled pork sandwich - it needs more flavor than just straight heat from the Gochujang. There was no bbq flavor at all to the pork. The garlic fries, were just fries with browned minced garlic thrown on top - very uninspired. The bibimbop also had little flavor - just heat, had to add a lot of sesame oil to it for flavor. Chili was decent. I think they need to keep to the American fair as their Korean inspired dishes miss the mark.
