I stayed at this property from 9/28-9/20 in Room 402. The check in process went very smoothly, and I received a room on an upper floor as requested. The room had a few issues, which I did not report because I did not want to have to pack and repack a second time for a two night stay. The lock on the inside of the door was inoperable. Secondly, the bathroom floor contained loose tiles, which made noise every time you stepped in the room. The floor appeared to have been recently tiled, but the grout was cracked. In addition, the bathroom walls were dirty, and there was also a thin layer of dust on the tiles around the bottom of the bathroom walls, which indicated that they had not been cleaned in quite a while. I have a dust allergy so I notice such things. On the morning of our departure, a member of housekeeping knocked on our door one time at 8:15 a.m. and then she opened the door to our room without waiting on anyone to answer the door. My husband quickly informed her that we had not yet checked out. At the time, I was using the toilet a few feet away from the door and would have been extremely embarrassed if she had walked in on me.
On the plus side, the room was reasonably priced, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was in a convenient location (i.e., close to the airport, restaurants, and shopping), and the front desk staff could not have been any nicer. The breakfast was also very tasty.
I would definitely stay at this location again, but maintenance is needed and housekeeping attendants need to be trained not to enter a room at 8:15 a.m. unless they (1) are certain the guests have checked out or (2) have waited a sufficient amount of time to allow guests to answer the door.
