Due to sightseeing, we were always eating late. Most places to eat on the Riverwalk close at 10 or 11 PM - even on weekends. It was hard finding a late night place that also had good food and a nice ambiance. We were very lucky to find Esquire, which we saw was recommended by travel channel online. Highly, highly recommend this place. Oldest bar in San Antonio with the longest wooden barter in Texas. Drinks are great and food is even better! Ketchup and mustard are made in house and are amazing. Late night menu has a good selection, and it was hard to come to a decision - but we enjoyed the bison burger and jalapeño bean burger. Fries were fresh and also made in house. Wish we would have found this place sooner, as we would have come back a few more times to enjoy the other things on the menu. I would've taken pictures, but was too busy eating the delicious burger instead. You must eat here if you are looking for places to dine at on the Riverwalk!!!
