We signed up for the bus tour based on good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Although we didn't see any ghosts it was fun to tour different sites in the city and learn about the history. Definitely worth it, if you have the time and are able to get a seat.

We enjoyed going on the haunted bus tour. The bus tour went for about 2 1/2 hours. We got to go to a lot of different places and learn about the hauntings around downtown San Antonio. I found it enjoyable to learn about the history/crime and hauntings that were a result of horrific events. You also get to learn about different buildings and the architecture. Being given the EMF readers on the tour was a very nice touch that added some fun. Our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. We had a great time on the tour and this was one of the highlights of our weekend San Antonio trip. Only one disappointment after the tour - when at the Menger hotel our tour guide mentions that we could go to the bar in the Menger and ask for a Roosevelt after the tour. So the next day, we went in and asked for a Roosevelt and the lady looked at us like we were crazy and said she did not know how to make that or what we were talking about. So I'm assuming you have to get the right bartender in order to try the Roosevelt. I would highly recommend this attraction especially if you are interested in spirits/crime/history.

Enjoyed the tour immensely but the dinner at the Hotel Menger was the highlight. Excellent steak and chicken served with ample portions. Seth was a very knowledgeable and extremely personable guide and our group of 12 was just about the perfect size. Some interesting stops and LOTS of history and fun facts - the "spirit" stuff was pretty cool as well though that was more for the kids (ages 32 and 27) than me. Well worth the money paid for the dinner tour.

We went on the 830pm walking tour with Dora. We had a group of seven teenage girls & 3 moms. Everyone was thrilled! Walk a little, hear a spooky ghost story, walk a little more, hear another spooky account. Take pics of the haunted stops & see if you can spot a ghost. Amazing tales that we researched to be true! We went back & further checked out all the stops the next day in the daylight!! Dora was super sweet and deserves all the tips you can muster up! We stopped for a snowcone break along the way. Can't beat that!!

The tour is approximately two hours long and is a walking tour of downtown San Antonio. You begin your tour from the Sister's Grim business location right next to the Alamo. Very easy to find.
Dora was our tour guide for the evening and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and the local haunts. She tells stories of the city of San Antonio and it's founders. The stories are a creepy mix of history and legend that are told at the actual sites where they occurred. Pictures are shown from a tablet of the actual people in the stories recited throughout the night.
There was a stop for some refreshments along the way as well as a small laser light show at one of the haunted locations.

The price is very affordable and worth the money paid. Wear some comfortable shoes for sure and you might want to bring along a little extra water. The tour stops for no man!!
The tour is not to bad for most kids. My eleven year old LOVES ghost tours but the eight yr old tends to get a little "spooked". Depends on the child. Parents, you know if little Johnny can take a good ghost story soooo.....
Overall, it's totally worth the 15-20 a person price tag just be ready to do a little walking and don't look behind you!!!
