Loved this museum. Well laid out with just the right amount of exhibits. Good information given on each exhibit. A really good museum shop - although a little pricey. Well worth a visit
I had long heard of this museum so wanted to visit. Only half the museum was open. I was able to use an NARM museum pass so my entry was "free"; not sure if the regular fee would have been worth it.
My wife and I were happy to spend the day at the Museum. The presentation is spectacular, the setting is a wonder. The setting has a unique presentation of a restaurant with very tasty cuisine.
This is one of the most special museums in Santa Fe. The jewelry collection is a must see and don't forget to visit the Case Trading Post downstairs - you will surely find a treasure you cannot live with out. The staff and docents are always friendly and very knowledgeable.
This museum offers an in-depth view of New Mexican native culture and history. It also features several temporary galleries and a gift shop with primarily native-made art. Compared to other native history museums, the content is above average.
Yes, it's the first stop for anthropologists and history lovers, but there is something fascinating for everyone in this excellent museum!
