This is a great place to have a light lunch while visiting galleries on Canyon Road. For us, dinners in Santa Fe are the big meal, with lots of green chile. A sandwich or salad mid-day is perfect. I like the avocado and turkey sandwich here, and the salads are also excellent. You can sit under shady umbrellas and take in the beauty of Canyon Road while enjoying a simple but tasty lunch.

At the base of Canyon Rd, this is a surprisingly fresh, almost European feeling, out door cafe that is a fitting gateway to the famed artist's road. Received a personalized welcome from the owner. Sandwiches were very good, especially my roast beef; (I like it rare). Will want to return.

Stopped in after an afternoon of Santa Fe sightseeing - including the galleries on Canyon. Cafe Des Artistes is a wonderful place to stop for a great, reasonably priced,
lunch. Peaceful outdoor seating, genial host, and creative menu...what more could you ask?

This place is wonderful for a stop on Canyon Road and to stop and smell the roses. It makes you slow down, and enjoy the beauty of life. The chile lemon mayo is dope.
