This hike is gorgeous. We saw coyotes, streams, and melting snow in May of 2009. It's a loop hike that culminates in a huge beautiful waterfall before heading back. The surrounding large boulders are fun to climb. I hear the best time to go is when the snow is melting because it's not too cold and then the waterfall is really pumping. One of the prettiest places I've ever been!
