Review of Tree Top cabin on the Shenandoah River

My friends and I just returned from an amazing weekend getaway at Treetop. As a group of very busy moms, we really wanted a place that was clean, comfortable, and somewhere that allowed us to really feel ‘away.’ Treetop was just that. Super clean upon our arrival, with magnificent views of the river below. It was perfectly remote. The beds were comfortable, and the lounging sofa was the perfect place to nap by the fireplace.
As one of my friends is a chef, there was a lot of cooking. We found the appliances and kitchen amenities to be perfect. There were plenty of towels and linens for our group of six. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. We enjoyed watching the cows in the pasture across the river. The first morning we woke up there, we hiked down to the river and enjoyed exploring.
We ventured into town one day to get some more groceries and wander around all of the antique stores nearby. The town is lovely and charming.
My friends and I can’t wait to go back to Treetop!
3 reviews Our family absolutely loved our stay at the Tree Top cabin! Everything was perfect! The cabin is gorgeous, the views are amazing...we didn't want to leave! We will definitely stay at this cabin again!

We loved our time in this cabin! As a person in a wheelchair, it is rare to find beautiful spots in nature that are also ADA-accessible! I really appreciate the hosts creating a top-notch environment which also catered to my unique needs. We were able to share time as a family again under one roof, which meant the world to my extended family. We hope to stay here again next summer and have been recommending it to friends in the meantime! Hosts were great and easy to work with and communicate with.

1 review We adored this cabin inside and out. Even with the rainy weather on and off we had a blast. We went on the river several times in the canoe and enjoyed making s’mores. The highlight was the beautiful hot tub we used several times a day and even in the rain. The luray caverns were fabulous and we highly recommend this place. Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well. The only negative was our front porch lights was out all week and despite letting the owner know they never were changed.
