This is a nice, intimate B&B with well-appointed and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was lovely on their roof deck. The only ding against this inn was the noise from the street. Loud, drunk people and boom-blasting cars were outside until 3am and kept us from sleeping. If you do stay here, make sure you get a room that is not facing Spring Street.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that's not facing Spring Street for a quieter stay.

First of all remember this is an old house, and that's it's charm. Yes, the en suites are small, yes the stairs are steep, no the rooms aren't huge, yes the parking is remote, but they are all there and they all work.

OK, perhaps don't stay here if you have a problem with rabbits. But if you do stay you will find helpful people and a house that has been given over to their guests, where you can sit in the living room and have a sherry and a nibble of something savoury or sweet while reading the paper.

The location is brilliant for exploring Newport on foot, so no need to worry that you had to park your car a block or two away.

The in room guests books are a hoot. Some people have certainly got some imagination when it comes to how they spent their night there.

Breakfast is on the top floor of the house with the opportunity to eat outside on their lovely sun deck, if the weather permits. A continental breakfast with the most delicious home baked goods. The tables are rather small, but hey how much room do you need for a bagel and cereal and a cup of coffee?

My first time to stay in a B/B,the room is so quaint, the whole house looks so Victorian, clean, very comfy, although the bathroom is a little small for what I'm use to,but.its alright again it's well kept..

this bed and breakfast is so interesting - all the rooms and the small stairways and the outside deck on the roof top - we loved it - our room was small but just fine - the innkeepers accommodated our last minute request of bringing our naval officer son to stay overnight with us...unfortunately we couldn't eat breakfast there because of early graduation at the naval base but we would stay here again - the only drawback is the remote parking area but it worked out fine for us

This is really a unique B&B. It resembles an English home. The hosts are professional and friendly; the rooms tidy, equipped with quasi antique furniture. Steep stairs are leading to the rooms on floors 2 and 3. So, if you are suffering from bad knees, ask for one of the 2 rooms room on the ground level. All in all: a very pleasant adventure.
