It seems that there are tons of reviews telling of the nice third floor breakfast room (outside deck over looking the harbor in the distance weather permitting), good breakfast selection (delicious baked goodies) and friendly owners: We agree! You can park next to the Inn and unload your luggage and then park 10 minutes walk away. The walk to our car was the ONLY downside and the owner assured us that they have thought of every possible solution and parking at the church was the best answer. Other than that: this is a wonderful place to stay. We would stay again.

Room Tip: Get a room on the back side: no traffic noise.

Myself and friend Mary stayed 2 nights in Room 8, supposedly a favorite of Jessica a 7 year old ghost who is fond of pranks (we never 'saw' her). Very quaint and cozy, there was an envelope containing a key and parking info on the Inn's front door, so we checked ourselves in! Has some free sherry and snacks in the living room which was adorned with literally a hundred stuffed rabbits. We also heard a noise through the wall in another room, turns out the owners have parrots! Owners Barry and Debbie were very friendly and we really enjoyed breakfast on the 3rd floor. From the the outside patio you can see the water. The first nigh which was extremely windy, sleeping we kept hearing noises assuming it was other guests walking back and forth. Turns out, the windows were creaking and so we stuffed pillows against them and were able to fall back to sleep. The free parking at the United church is only a 10 minute walk. This Inn is right near everything easily within walking distance.I felt the prices were a tad steep, but the room was comfortable and the place is totally charming!

Room Tip: recommend a room toward the back as there is street noise at the front

My wife and I booked a night here to celebrate Valentine's day. The location cannot be beat, as it is just a block up from the main road with the most shops and restaurants. There is a great setup in the main den where you can make coffee anytime, grab a complimentary snack, play a provided game that might interest you, or even have a wee bit of sherry, all in front of the fireplace. The continental breakfast was quite nice too. The view from the 3rd floor deck (snowy while we were there) was quite nice. The room was very clean. You have to check this out. Zero complaints from us on this place.

Stayed here for a wedding in town. It is close to everything, The annual seafood festival was the same weekend and was only five minutes away. Great view of harbor from rooftop breakfast and reading area. Need a place to stay? Pick the Pilgrim House Inn.

Room Tip: Queen Room #7 was quiet, warm, and cozy.

This is a nice, intimate B&B with well-appointed and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was lovely on their roof deck. The only ding against this inn was the noise from the street. Loud, drunk people and boom-blasting cars were outside until 3am and kept us from sleeping. If you do stay here, make sure you get a room that is not facing Spring Street.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that's not facing Spring Street for a quieter stay.
