This is where it all began for the US. We wanted to stay out of WWII, but when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, the US could do nothing but respond, and IN FORCE. This is a great memorial of that fateful day. You can still see the USS Arizona and some of the oil that still spills out of the great ship.

Plenty of people visiting but it was extremely well run. Don’t take any bags of any size as you will have to bag check them before you enter and that line is long. The museums are informative and then you go to the cinema to watch a 20 minute movie. From there you are put on the boat to go to memorial. It is a somber time but well worth the visit.

There are no words to describe this emotionally, breathtaking experience! I am a wife of a 20 year veteran so we felt it was time that we bring our 9 & 13 year old to experience such an important part of history. This was my 2nd time and I was still just so overwhelmed with emotion, it never gets old. You can do a tour but they get very pricey or you can do what we did and purchase tickets directly ahead of time for a few bucks and rent an audio system. The parking is ample and it never feels overcrowded. There are small places to eat but we have never eaten there, I do think they can expand on this and make a nicer option to eat that might be more enticing to visitors. Overall, this is an amazing experience that everyone who visits should experience at least once in their life.

This is a service that will pick you up at your hotel or ship and take you to Pearl Harbor for the US S Arizona Memorial tour. This is the most visited attraction in Pearl Harbor and the memorial marks the resting place of sailors and marines killed when Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7, 1941.

The cruise ship offered the same tour but for $250 per person. I went online to look for alternatives and found several and after reading the customer responses decide to choose Pearl Harbor Website. Their price was $70 per person and that included pick up at our ship. Most tours of this type are similar in that they bring you to Pearl Harbor, take you inside the gate, provide you with a ticket and an orientation talk and then you enter into the National Park system to visit the museums, watch movie about the attack, and then get on a small tender, run by the U.S. Navy, to visit the Memorial itself. It is built over the remains of the battleship Arizona and you can look down into the water and see the ship. There is time afterwards to visit other attractions in the national Park before pick up.

After pick up, we took a short tour through Honolulu to see various government buildings and other tourist attractions and then return to our ship and others to hotels.

Our experience with PHW was quite good: they maintained contact with us by email before the trip, contacted us again by email when the ship arrived, and again by voice message just prior to pickup to let us know when the van will be coming and where it was in it’s route. The driver was courteous, very helpful, and provided some commentary on the trip out and back. The price is right, the service is excellent, and we would recommend PHW as a very good vendor for this excursion.

I have always known Japan attacked Pearl Harbor from high school textbooks and the movie Pearl Harbor with the good looking actor before he turned into an old hag.

Visiting Pearl Harbor Pacific National Monument in person was a breathtaking experience for me, knowing that many soldiers died during the surprised Kamizaki attack, and marking the USArmy's initial involvement in the World War II was amazing.

The USS Arizona was beneath us, and boarding the site where the ship sank, was just beyond words.

US has suffered greatly since the World War II, and with the involvement in many wars across the world, this site is just a place where we know that War is good for nobody, no matter which site wins.

Thank You Soldiers, and May your souls rest in peace, in Jesus' Name I Pray.

God Bless USA, President Trump, and every single American Citizen across the world.
