We went on June 9th and had a wonderful time . Sat next to a lovely couple who we chatted to . The food was very tasty, lobster followed by steak . A glass of bubbly on arrival followed by two drinks of your choice . If you wanted more drinks you could purchase them but we found two was more than enough. The fireworks were fantastic and just seeing all the hotels lit up from the deck of a boat fulfilled a long time dream of mine to come to Hawaii. The whole evening wax topped of with authentic Polynesian dancing. Altogether a unforgettable experience.

We really enjoyed our dinner cruise on the Star of Honolulu. Would greatly recommend this.
Our meal could not be faulted. The staff were also fabulous and the dancing and entertainment also stunning. We really enjoyed being able to go anywhere on the boat and took some fab photos of the sunset.
Definitely recommended.

The cruise was awesome and the staff was too. They were outgoing and were there anytime we needed a refill on the unlimited crab legs. The view was amazing. The food was delicious. We got the celebration package and got a framed photo to take home. Hula show was awesome too! You can tell these people love what they do! ❤ would def recommend.

My family and I recently went on the Friday Night Firework Cruise with Paradise Cruises. The food was good, but not excellent, the staff was attentive, and the views were terrific. I think the whole family enjoyed the cruise. On Friday nights, the Hilton Hotel puts off fireworks after the sunset. We were able to see the sunset, fireworks and the entertainment that came after the fireworks. It was a great night. The only issue was that one person in our party got sea sick. We all took Dramamine before we went on the cruise, but this time it didn't work for my daughter. Even with the sea sickness, she enjoyed the night. That says something. I would give them an excellent, if the food had been better. It is work booking this event.

We were prepared for the worst after reading all the negative reviews on the Star of Honolulu New Year cruise. The 2 best features of this cruise were the superb service of all the staff from the ticket office to the greeting to the dining staff. We drove ourself to the Pier and therefore avoided the shuttle pickup and waiting around that other reviewers complained about. Everyone we encountered seemed to sincerely enjoy serving the guests. The entertainment was terrific though on a small scale. The lone hula dancer was absolutely sweet and warm while the after dinner jazz singer was a knockout in her 1920's elegant retro evening attire with a voice to match. Not local style but definitely sophisticated in the New York (our hometown originally) glitz. The negatives: the boat didn't stray from the harbor (saving fuel expense?) therefore no Waikiki or city lights or cruise for that matter - just a floating restaurant platform for the fireworks. Salad (pastry shell tucked with salad greens) and dessert (chocolate grand piano filled with fruit) were wonderful as were the festive New Year touches, hats & noisemakers. The main entree steak and lobster were about airline food caliber. Was it worth it all in all? As a rare treat for ringing in the decade? Yes! Thanks for the memories.
