This is the place if you want to support a family owned hotel that's cute, reasonably priced, and well located. Staff were super warm and helpful no matter the time of day and were very generous with amenities. The hotel is cute and is one of the few in the area that isn't like 100 stories tall.
It's great for a solo traveler as it's reasonably priced and the area is very safe and well lit - I even left my hotel door ajar for an entire evening by mistake without any consequences.
It's close to the Moana beach (more peaceful) and the moana center (super convenient) as well as right in front of the airport bus stop. I was there for a conference and the walk to the convention center is 10-15 min depending on your stride.
Air conditioning worked great, though I didn't need it much in May. Water pressure was excellent.
One small thing is that the road traffic can be an issue if you're a light sleeper, but I generally didn't have this problem after the first jet-lagged night. The balconies also don't offer much of a view due to the size of the hotel, but you'll get better views by leaving the hotel anyways!
Overall would recommend and would happily stay here again.
