We went here for a few late in the evening drinks and thoroughly enjoyed the intimate atmosphere that makes this pub a neighbourhood gathering place. Everyone here was enjoying themselves. The selection of beers is fantastic and hopefully on our next visit we will have a chance to try the food. How nice to have a band that plays well, takes breaks (with no blaring recorded music to deafen you) and seems to be having more fun than the patrons. A lovely evening. We'll have to go back for an afternooner sometime soon.

Love the fact that new management has changed the whole atmosphere at this place. They now have happy hour every day, weekly specials even on the weekends, great bar tenders who actually love their patrons. The cook George is a great asset, if it isnt on the menu, HE WILL MAKE WHATEVER YOU WANT...Bartender Mike is a great eye catcher. This is a great place for me on a weekly basis just to unwind from a hard day at work.

My wife and I spent part of our afternoon on our 32nd anniversary here, and it added to our bliss. We love Irish and English ales, ciders, and pub fare, and this place did not disappoint. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive (Thanks Mike!). The mussels, prepared in beer, and served in a cream sauce, with wedges of garlic/cheese toast, were meaty and larger than those we have been served elsewhere (apparently a New Zealand Green Shell variety), and were packed with flavor, and quite tender. The Cod serving, on both the sandwich and fish-n-chips, was plentiful and flavorful, and literally left no oily residue on the plate. The slaw was excellent (though the serving was quite small). The fries (alas, not chips) were crisp and tasty, and, again, plentiful. The motif was genuine. We'll be back!

We sat on the patio on a gorgeous fall afternoon. Lunch crowd has already gone by the time we arrived, but I can only imagine that this place is hopping in the evenings. Service great. Loved the pulled pork sandwich and brew offerings. So glad we stumbled upon this little gem!!!

We found this restaurant via a 'restaurant.com' offer.. We came to the place not knowing what to expect.

It was great. Great food, Good selection of Irish Beers and Irish liqour.

The menu had great selection of traditional Irish fare and other cuisines too, including Lasagna.

Appetizers were good and portion size was good.

Main course was good. i had meatloaf, and it was served at the appropriate temperature.
Although we came here on a 'deal', I would definately come back at 'regular' prices!

For chocolate lovers, their "Sinful Seven" is a chocolate RUSH!

As for parking, we got lucky and there was an open on-street spot! I am not sure what other partking is available.

When you go inside, initially it looks small, but there is another HUGE room off to the side.

In addition, there is an outdoor patio.
