Very nice, spacious and new rooms with a view to the ocean. Smiling and nice service - however sometimes slow (as all other restaurants we went to in the area). The food is safe and good, but nothing special. They should maybe have more than just Lion beer (Tuborg is possible to get). The beach outside is wonderful and so is also the possibility to use the bodyboard for free. The massages/spa sessions is also very nice.

Maybe buying two - four surfingboards that the resort may rent out and replacing the bodyboard would be recommended.

And there is internet in the main lobby and also in the dining area (however the one in the dining area was a bit on and of).

Room tip: There are some construction work going on @ the neighbours but not to loud since they now are mostly doing indoor finishing touches.

The good:

Fantastic view over the east side of Weligama bay, loved to hear the waves crashing on the beach. There was also a very nice rooftop terrace on floor 4 where you could watch the sunset over a glass of wine, or even dinner. Comfortable bed with large mosquito net. The little village the resort is built around is quaint and the kids are always happy to yell HELLO!!

The bad:

There's another resort being built right next door which made relaxing almost impossible with construction going on from morning til afternoon every day.

With the exception of Sanka the staff was not very attentive and it was difficult to know who even did what. The few times we spoke to the proprietors they seemed rather defensive. For example my wife said off-hand that she had trouble with the wifi and the lady of the pair simply laughed and said "oh it's always working for me!"

They refused to give us anything other than heavily sugared orange juice for breakfast despite allergy, instead we had to buy fresh fruit juice separately. The food was average.

The room had only one table chair and for whatever reason it was impossible to give us another so we had to use the balcony chair for roomservice dinner. Wifi coverage does not extend to the rooms on the fourth floor.

It may be more expensive, but it's worth paying for. You really pay for the western standards: really clean spacious rooms, good service, welcoming people. It's located on the most beautiful beach of weligama: really quite. We really enjoyed our week here with relaxing and surfing.

We had a really nice stay in a resort that meets the European standard and facilities. The price is maybe a little but higher than a regular homestay but the quality was therefore better than we had in Sei Lanka.

The staff (Sanka, Karu and the others) were helpfull and gave a top service!

We visited the restaurant of this hotel several times whilst staying nearby in Weligama and want to pay compliments to the hotel on excellent service and food. It is located at the Mirissa end of Weligama - before you cross the bridge if you are coming by road from the town centre or one can walk along the beach. There are tables on a patio area outside from which you can have great views of the sea and beach. The lunch menu caters for Eastern and Western tastes. The devilled prawns were delicious and the sandwiches better than many other places. Service was very friendly and efficient. We would definitely return here.
